Packaging analysis
Sculptural architectural calendar inspired by Howl's Moving Castle, with 24 stationery and jewellery miniatures; the box itself is reusable as décor. Prototyping core: the 3D forming of the custom-shaped castle structure and the compartmentalised fixing of the multi-material miniatures — full architectural impact.
Frequently asked questions
How do 3D shaped boxes survive shipping?
Ship them nested or flat with simple final folding. Get the freight quote before approving the design — volume, not weight, is the cost.
When is the extra cost justified?
When the shape IS the brand (a bottle, a character, a building). If the shape is decorative only, a printed standard box usually wins on margin.
