Packaging analysis
Working clock-shaped calendar with 12 gin mini bottles mounted at the dial positions; paper + wood structure, refillable (clock body sold separately). A clever build of the 'time' concept into the structure — a reference for themed custom-shaped boxes.
Frequently asked questions
What drives the tooling cost of a shaped box?
The die design: every unique curve needs its own die, and 3D forms often need hand assembly. Budget 2–3x the tooling of a standard drawer box.
How do I keep a shaped box shippable?
Design it to ship flat or nested. Ask for the flat-pack dieline before approving the 3D render — freight cost kills more shaped-box projects than tooling does.
